2. INTRODUCTION & SPECIFICATION
electric hand-propelled lawn mower with a 300mm (12") cutting width.
composite deck for lightweight durability. 1000W motor combined with
an emergency cut-out switch for safety. cutting height can be adjusted
between 26-56mm (3 positions) and has a 30ltr rear collection box.
supplied with 10m mains cable with Bs plug. folding handle and 14kg
weight enable easy storage.

3.1.
check that you have all the above details in the packaging.
In the unlikely event of any missing or damaged parts,
contact your sealey dealer immediately. retain the
packaging.
3.2
Assembly:- (no tools required except cross head
screwdriver)
3.2.1
loop the cable strain relief hook (item 3) on to the upper
handle tubular frame (item 1) in the position indicated.
3.2.2. thread the mains cable as illustrated in fig.1 through the
cable strain relief hook (item 3). this is an important safety
feature preventing the mains cable from being accidentally
pulled from switch connections.
3.2.3. fit the lower handle frames (item 2) into the holes of the
cutter deck (item 6) full depth. use the supplied cross head
self tapping screws (item 8) to secure through the
pre-punched holes.
3.2.4. fit the upper handle sub assembly (item 1) containing the
switch and cable to the lower handle (item 2) paying
attention to the cable run. there is a choice of two positions
50mm apart. clamp the frame with (item 5) details, see fig.
2.
3.2.5
Position the three cable clips (item 4), clip to tubular frame
and finally clip the cable which runs from motor to switch.
3.2.6
Attach grass box if required (item 7) to tabs located beneath
spring loaded hinged panel, see fig.5, fig.6 and fig.7.
3.3
Blade fitting:- (spanner supplied)
3.3.1
decide on the grass cutting length required, a choice of
3 are available, 26mm, 41mm and 56mm approximate grass
length settings. In fig.4 the wheel spindle is shown at the
26mm setting. each wheel requires adjusting equally. A
tension spring retains the spindle into the chosen slot.
3.3.2
to remove the blade, hold the blade with a gloved hand and
undo the centre bolt with the supplied plastic spanner.
3.3.3. refit or change the blade by the opposite approach and
tighten the centre bolt with the supplied plastic spanner, this
should avoid over torqueing.
NOTE: the blade will only fit one way, see fig.3 observing
stamped arrow. the retaining bolt has a standard rH thread.
 WARNING! never use blades other than the spares
supplied by your sealey dealer.
