*AUDIO In (Left/Right)
- Audio left/right input jack to
connect a camcorder or video
Recorder
*VIDEO In (CVBS)
- Video input jack to connect a
camcorder or video Recorder
*S-VIDEO In
- Video input jack to connect a
camcorder or video Recorder
*DV
- Audio/Video input jack to connect a digital
camcorder
*DV-indicator
- Lights red when the DV input is active

B STANDBY/ON
- switches the Recorder On or to standby mode (off)
Standby indicator
- lights red when the Recorder is in standby mode; Recorder is not operable
- lights green when the Recorder is operable
Infrared remote control receiver
PANEL
- press to open and close the door that covers additional buttons and jacks on the
front of the Recorder
DISPLAY
- displays the current status of the Recorder
- recording of the selected channel
- stops disc playback or recording
- opens/closes the disc tray
DIGITAL
/chapter/track/index or beginning of
current title/chapter/track/index
0 RECORD

- starts disc play
9 STOP
/ OPEN/CLOSE

- J selects previous title
- K selects next title/

*AUTO/MAN REC VOLUME
- to adjust the recording volume
level automatically or manually
*MANUAL
- 3 4 to increase/decrease the
recording volume level
- to select TV channels manually

- Q search backward during disc playback
- R search forward during disc playback
