Reset error message E9:

• Let cool down the cooler for least 10 -15 min
• Press and hold the  and  buttons simultaneously until SE
flashes in the display.
• Release the buttons
• Wait about 10 Sek
• The remaining filter capacity will be displayed and error message
E9 is reset
If EE flashes or the problem cannot be rectified, interrupt the power
supply to the cooler/carbonator. Note down the serial number of the
cooler/carbonator on the rear of the device and consult a specialist
installer or contact the GROHE Service Hotline via email under
TechnicalSupport-HQ@grohe.com.

The GROHE Blue Chilled cooler/carbonator may only be repaired
by GROHE Service.
Cause
• Filter not installed correctly
• Safety shut-off of pump
• Exceeding the drawing time
• No connection between fitting and
cooler/carbonator
• Cable or connector faulty
• Fault function of cooler/carbonator
• Fault function of cooler/carbonator
• Filter capacity exceeded

Remedy
- Insert filter straight

- Open shut-off valves
- Disconnect mains supply, wait 30 seconds and
reconnect
- Close Blue
- Connect plug-in connector
- Contact GROHE Service
- Disconnect mains supply, wait 30 seconds and*
reconnect
- Disconnect mains supply, wait 30 seconds and*
reconnect
- Change filter cartridge immediately
- Close Blue
reduce ambient temperature to max. 50 °F
- Let cool down the cooler for least 10 -15 min
- Reset error message E9, see below
- Replace CO
- Replace CO

Used filter cartridges can be disposed of hazard-free in domestic
waste.
The accompanying CO

The CO cylinder must not be sent back. At the end of its useful life

it must be disposed of locally in accordance with the applicable
regulations.
The cooler/carbonator is an electrical device, to which return and
take-back obligations apply in many countries. GROHE participates
in such take-back systems in all relevant countries.
This category of device does not belong in the domestic
waste, but must be disposed of separately in accordance
with the relevant local national regulations.
