Hill Start Control Pro

ATTENTION
Drive-off assistant failure
Accident hazard
Manually brake to secure the
vehicle.
NOTICE
z
Hill Start Control is only a con-
venience system for easier hill-
starting and should, therefore,
not be confused with a parking
brake.
Apply brake lever 1 firmly and
then release.
Green Hill Start Control in-
dicator light appears on the
display.
Hill Start Control Pro is now
activated.
To turn off Hill Start Con-
trol Pro, pull brake lever 1
again.
NOTICE
If Hill Start Control Pro is deacti-
vated using the brake lever, auto-
matic Hill Start Control is deacti-
vated for the next 4 m.
Alternatively, drive off in 1st or
2nd gear.
NOTICE
Hill Start Control Pro is deacti-
vated automatically when driving
off.
When automatic Hill Start
Control Pro is turned off,
the stop symbol disappears af-
ter the brake has been released
completely. When automatic Hill
Start Control Pro is turned on,
the white stop symbol appears.
Hill Start Control Pro is now
deactivated.
