operation on the main connection (recall
250 ms). For operation on a PABX, you
may have to change this value. Please
refer to the user guide for your PABX.

Setting pauses

Changing pause after line seizure
You can change the length of pause that is
inserted between pressing the talk key c
and sending the number.

Open menu.

Press keys.

Enter a digit for the length of
the pause (1 = 1 sec.;
2 = 3 sec.; 3 = 7 sec.) and
press

Changing the pause after the recall key
You can change the length of the pause if
your PABX requires this (refer to the user
guide for your PABX).

Enter a digit for the length of
the pause (1 = 800 ms;
2 = 1600 ms; 3 = 3200 ms)
and press
Switching temporarily to touch
tone dialling (DTMF)
If your PABX still operates with dial pulsing
(DP), but you need touch tone dialling
(DTMF) for a connection (e.g. to listen to
the network mailbox) you must switch to
touch tone dialling for the call.
Precondition: You are conducting a call or
have already dialled an external number.

Press the star key.
After the call is ended, dial pulsing is auto-
matically activated again.
