Time display selection
Press the TIME switch on the remote control repeatedly
during play. The display changes in the following se-
quence:
Remainingtime for the current track
Remainingtimeforthe entire disc (Duringprogrammed
play, remaining time for all programmed tracks)
Elapsed time for the current track
The display returnsto "elapsed time" after 10 seconds.

If the track number exceeds
24,
the remaining time for
the current track cannot be displayed.
In the stop mode, the total play time on the disc is
displayed.
PROGRAMMED
PLAY
(using the remote control)
Up to
24
selectionson a disc can be programmed for play
in any order.
- To begin the programming procedure, select the CD
function first.

The tracks are programmed in the stop mode.
- The same track can be programmed more than once.
Example:
To prograrnmetracks
5,2,6
and 10
- Proceed with the operation after the CD 10KEY switch
has been pressed.

When the TIME switch is pressed while "PI" is lit,the
total time of the programmed tracks is displayed.
ifthe total time exceeds 99 minutes 59 seconds, or if a
track number higher than
24
has been programmed,
"no dlSP" or blank is displayed. When the TIME switch
is pressed, "Pr" returns.
The tracks can also be selected using the w or w
switch.
When programmingusingthe controlsonthe mainunit,
use the SKIP/SEARCH switches to assign the tracks.
Any attempt to programme more than 24 selectionswill
resultin "FULL"being displayed and discontinuationof
the programming.
The programme is cleared in the following cases:
- Whe;the
switch is pressed in the s;op mode
- When the EDIT switch is pressed in the stop mode
When the 4 switch is pressed
- When the mains lead has been disconnected
Checking the programme
Each time the MEMORY
switch is pressed in the stop
mode, the programmed detailssequentiallyappear onthe
display.
Changing
a programme
To add a new selection to a programme:
1. Inthestop mode, pressthe MEMORY switchrepeatedly
until"- - ----- " is displayed.
2. Select a track number as explained above.
To change a selection:
1. Press the MEMORY switch repeatedly until the selec-
tion to be replaced is displayed.
2. Select a track number as explained above.
Note
Programmed details cannot be partially deleted or in-
serted.
Operations during programmed play
- Press the WI 'or
tracks.
- The O-9 and +10
programmed play.

switch-to-skip programmed
switches do not function during
mialpf0g~3t2wths
have played,
the player
stops automatically. The total programmed time ap-
pears.
- The programme contents are retained in memory.
- Ifthe total programmed time exceeds 99 minutes 59
seconds, "no dlSP" appears.
