Diagnostic mode messages

The Diagnostic mode provides details on the maintenance and service conditions of the AED.
For example, if the AED is not Rescue Ready, Diagnostic mode displays additional information
about the status.
To enter Diagnostic mode:
Press and hold both buttons on the AED's display
panel for three seconds.
The following prompts appear when the AED is in Diagnostic mode. Use the table to resolve the
reported conditions.

Situation
The AED enters Diagnostic
mode.
The AED detects a condition
that can prevent the AED from
continuing a rescue.
The battery charge is too low
to support a rescue.
Powerheart® G5 Automated External Defibrillator
Press
Resolution
Not applicable
Contact Cardiac Science
Technical Support or your
local representative
immediately.
Replace the battery
immediately. If the battery
charge is completely depleted,
all AED activity ends.
