5.1 Startup Operation of Cyclic Communication
Note when starting the system using the EtherNet/IP function at high speed:
•
When the power supply of an Ethernet switch is turned ON at the same time
as the start of the system, a normal switch (unmanaged) is activated in a
few seconds. However, as for a managed switch, it takes several tens of
seconds.
Until the switch is activated, the EtherNet/IP communication cannot be
started.
For starting the system at high speed, turn on the power supply of the
Ethernet switch in advance, and start the system.
