Adjusting the sound

Reinforcing the bass sound

— DSG

Press DSG* on the remote.
"DSG" appears in the display.
Press again to cancel DSG.
* DSG: Dynamic Sound Generator
Tip
DSG is factory set to on.
Selecting the Preset
Equalizer menu
The Preset Equalizer enables you to select the
sound characteristic among 5 sound effects
according to the type of music you are listening
to.
Press PRESET EQ on the remote
repeatedly.
The display changes cyclically as follows:
ROCK t POP t JAZZ t CLASSIC t
DANCE t FLAT
To cancel the Preset Equalizer
Press PRESET EQ on the remote repeatedly
until "FLAT" appears.
Tip
The Preset Equalizer menu is factory set to "ROCK".

Timer

Falling asleep to music

— Sleep Timer

The Sleep Timer function lets you specify a
sleep time, after which the system stops playing
and turns off automatically. You can thus fall
asleep to music.
Press SLEEP on the remote repeatedly.
The sleep time changes cyclically as follows:
AUTO* t 90min t 80min t 70min t ...
t 10min t SLEEP OFF
* The system turns off after the current CD finishes
playing (up to 4 hours).
Press
To
SLEEP on the remote once.
Check the remaining
sleep time**
Change the sleep time
SLEEP on the remote
repeatedly until the time
you want appears.
Cancel the Sleep
SLEEP on the remote
Timer function
repeatedly until "SLEEP
OFF" appears.
** When "AUTO" is selected, you cannot check the
Sleep Timer's remaining time.
