4.4.12 Index Burst Timing Inspection and Adjustment (Continued)
8. If Index Burst Timing is not within the range specified in step 6, adjust the
Index Sensor as follows:
(a) Refer to Figure 4-15. Loosen the Index sensor mounting screw and move
the sensor until the True Index Burst Timing is within the specified range
given in step 6.
(b) After tightening the mounting screw, to the specified torque, repeat the
adjustment until the True Index Burst Timing is within thespeci fied
range.
(c) Coat the head of the mounting screw with a small quantity of screw lock
liquid.
9. Remove the alignment disk.
