4.4.3 Disk-in Sensor Inspection
Tools Required: Work/Scratch Diskette
Oscilloscope
Disk Drive Power Supply
1.
Place the Disk Drive on its side, with the LED indicator downward and the
Front Lever upward.
2. Connect an Oscilloscope (DC range IV /div) to J9 pin 6.
3. Turn-on power to the disk drive and check that the voltage is 0.5V or less
when a diskette is not inserted.
4. Insert a diskette and check that the voltage is 2.5 V or more.
