Unicast Routing Commands
bestpath as-path multipath-relax (BGP)
To configure a Border Gateway Protocol (BGP) routing process to consider the different autonomous
system (AS) paths and load balance multiple paths during best path route selection, use the bestpath
as-path multipath-relax command. To return the BGP routing process to the default operation, use the
no form of this command.
Syntax Description
This command has no arguments or keywords.

Usage Guidelines
Before you use this command, ensure that BGP is enabled on the switch by using the feature bgp
command.
This command requires the LAN Enterprise Services license.
Examples
This example shows how to configure multipath load sharing on paths from different autonomous
systems in router mode:
switch# configure terminal
switch(config)# router bgp 120
switch(config-router)# bestpath as-path multipath-relax
switch(config-router)#
