Error tables

In the following error tables, the error messages and possible causes of the
errors are listed.

8.5.1 Generator error
Cause
Oscillator system loses too
much power in the "air"
The mains voltage for the
oscillator is too low.

The minimum modulation of
the output stage below limit
The set maximum tempera-
ture value at the heat sink
of the power transistor has
been reached
below the lower limit
The frequency has excee-
ded the maximum limit

The maximum converter
voltage has been exceeded
The current power is larger
than the permissible set
limit value
In the case of errors that are not caused by the application,
contact your nearest RINCO ULTRASONICS AG service
centre.
Measures
▪ Clean interface surfaces
▪ Replace converter, booster or
sonotrode if necessary
▪ Check mains voltage, correct if
necessary.
▪ Replace generator module
▪ Check mains voltage
▪ Check fuses
▪ Replace generator module
▪ Check oscillator system, replace if
necessary
▪ Replace generator module
▪ Check cooling
▪ Improve cooling of the generator
module
▪ Replace generator module
▪ Check oscillator system, replace if
necessary
▪ Check RF cable and replace if
necessary
▪ Check oscillator system, replace if
necessary
▪ Check oscillator system, replace if
necessary
▪ Replace generator module
▪ If the error occurs repeatedly, the
limit setting must be corrected
▪ Reduce contact pressure on
workpiece
▪ If the limit is set to the highest
level, the parameter setting must
be adjusted.
▪ If no better welding result can be
achieved with a lower pressure, a
more powerful generator must be
used
