Removing the Tub Ring, Impeller, and Basket

WARNING
Electrical Shock Hazard
Disconnect power before servicing.
Replace all parts and panels before operating.
Failure to do so can result in death or
electrical shock.
Lifting the Top Panel
1. Unplug washer or disconnect power.
2. Turn off water supply to washer.
3. Disconnect hot and cold inlet water hoses.
4. Tape lid down.
5. Remove three (3) 1/4" hex-head mounting screws from
the rear of the console as indicated in Figure 1. Remove
harness cover and set aside.

6. Slide top forward about 1/2" (see Figure 2).
7. Raise the top about 1/4". Then, while still keeping it lifted,
push the top back about 1/4 " (see Figure 3).

8. Tilt the top up on the rear hinges.
