CHECKING FEATURES
GE-235 Card Readers
E r r o r s in feeding and reading a r e detected by the timing and checking features of the respective
GE-235 Card Readers. Indicators on the control panels a r e illuminated a t the time of any of the
following e r r o r s , depending on the model:

GE-235 Card Punches
In the GE-235 card punches, e r r o r checking circuitry and the punching mechanism monitor f o r
the following e r r o r s :
Any column was erroneously left blank.
Any column was double punched with numeric characters.
If input hopper i s empty, c a r d punching stops.
If there i s a misfeed, card punching stops.
If there is a card punch alarm, card punching stops.
