While the control unit is starting up, all LEDs are illuminated yellow for a brief time. You can
carry out a detailed diagnosis using a PG/PC and the Engineering System.

Meaning
D4xx is deenergized.
SIMOTION Compact Flash has begun
to boot, however, a boot error, such as
faulty firmware, has occurred.
SINAMICS Integrated has not started
up (firmware not available or faulty) or
a drive fault has occurred.
D4xx is ready to operate: SIMOTION
is running, and SINAMICS Integrated
is ready to operate.
Faulty D445 fan module (not inserted
or insufficient speed)
LED flashes green from startup of
RUN mode until RUN mode is
reached.
This LED indicates that the user
program is running. D4xx is in
SIMOTION RUN mode.
SIMOTION is requesting an overall
reset.
LED flashes yellow from selection of
STOP mode until STOP mode is
reached.
This LED indicates that no user
program is running. The technology
packages are not active.
LED flashes yellow from selection of
STOPU mode until STOPU mode is
reached.
This LED indicates that the technology
packages are active. No user program
is being executed.
SIMOTION portion of D4xx is
operating without errors.
