3.6 Self-alignment

When data from several input channels is displayed at the same time, it may be neces-
sary to align the data vertically or horizontally to synchronize the time bases or ampli-
tudes and positions. This is the case, for example, when strong temperature changes
occur (> 5°).

3.6.1 Control

Access: "File" menu > "Selfalignment"
Start Alignment
Starts the self-alignment procedure for all channels.
Remote command:
*CAL?
Date / Time / Overall alignment state
Show the date and the summary result of the self-alignment process: Passed or Failed.
Detailed results are provided on the "Results" tab.

3.6.2 Results

For each channel, the results of the individual alignment steps are shown for all techni-
cal channel component. In case you require support, you may be asked to provide this
information.
