Loading Ribbon

NOTE: Skip this section when using Direct Thermal Printing
1. Slide the appropriate thermal transfer ribbon roll onto the ribbon
supply spindle until it is flush against the printer.
2. Open the pivoting deck by rotating the deck lock lever
clockwise to the end of its travel. The pivoting deck will swing
upward.
3. Thread the end of the transfer ribbon below the rear ribbon
guide and continue threading between the platen (or media if
loaded) and the printhead. You can also refer to the Ribbon
and Media Loading Instruction label located inside the printer
on the media cover.
