Be sure not to initialize (format) the memory of your Walkman using a computer. If you have formatted it with a
computer, format it again using the Walkman.
Formatting the memory erases all content data (songs, etc., including the sample data installed at the factory, and the
supplied software installer). Be sure to check the data stored in the memory and export any important data to your

After deleting music from your Sony Walkman NW-WS413 using your laptop, follow these steps to fix any issues:

1. Transfer the Music Again: Connect your Walkman to your computer and copy the music files back to the correct folder.
2. Ensure Correct Folder Structure: Place the files in the appropriate folder (e.g., MUSIC) without renaming default folders.
3. Avoid Corruption: Do not perform other tasks on your computer while transferring files to prevent data corruption.
4. Restart the Walkman: Press and hold the button for about 10 seconds to restart the device.
5. Format the Walkman (if needed): If issues persist, back up your files and format the Walkman before transferring music again.

This should help restore proper functionality.
