5. Mechanical installation

The PQFA is suitable for indoor installation, on firm foundations, in a well-
ventilated area without dust and excessive aggressive gases where the
ambient parameters do not exceed the following values:
40°C max;
30°C (average temperature) over 24 hours;
Minimum temperature: +5 °c
Humidity less than 95% RH non-condensing
Altitude: max. 1000m without derating.
For units with nominal voltage above 415V, the rear side of the cubicles must
be located at least at 100mm from the wall as represented in the sketch
hereunder.
At least 100mm spacing must be provided between PQFA rear side and wall

PQFA cubicles have standard dimensions of 800 x 600 x 2150 mm (width x
depth x height).
Each cubicle may contain one or two power modules and is fitted with its own
bottom cable entry and breaker.
For systems with more than 2 power modules, cubicles are installed on a
common base of 100-mm height. Standard dimensions for PQFA with up to 6
power modules are shown on page 26.
