The measuring results shown on the scale 
are all individual values and must not be 
added together. Otherwise the total will 
exceed 100%. 
The scales automatically identify the users 
based on their weight (deviations of +/– 5% 
possible). You do not need to turn it on. Just 
step on the scales with bare feet and stand 
still while the display flickers. Distribute your 
weight evenly between both legs.
Four different situations can occur as 
described here (user detection) with the 
measured values display.
The user was identified
The display shows the weight and the User 
Profile Number (in the top left corner). After 
about 5 seconds, the BMI appears.
Press the right navigation button ► to 
display the results of the analysis 
The scales display each of the following 
values for about 2 seconds:
FAT Body fat in % 
Body water in % 
M
Muscle mass in %
N
Bone mass in %
O
kg
Weight in kg
These values are automatically repeated 
twice.
At the same time, the illuminated segment 
lights up:
Green – The values are within the normal 
range
Orange – The values are not within the 
normal range
The scales always compare the latest 
readings with the stored averages of the 
most recent 5 measurements. The arrow in 
the top right corner of the display indicates 
whether the trend of these values is upward

The bar scale on the right additionally 
indicates the classification:
The exact values for these classifications 
are shown in the tables on the foldout 
pages at the end of these operating 
instructions. 
The scales switch off automatically a few 
seconds after completing the measurement 
process.
The user was not identified correctly
The scales display only the weight and the 
BMI.
The top left corner of the display shows a 
question mark „?".

  ■ Press the right navigation button ► to 
display the results of the analysis.
or
The indicated User Profile is not your own
  ■ Press the left navigation button ◄; the 
scales display the current user profile 
USER. 
  ■ Press the SET button.
  ■ Use the navigation buttons ◄ ► to select 
your own User Profile and confirm your 
personal data with the SET button or 
enter the values as described in "Entering 
your personal data".
  ■ Press the right navigation button ► to 
display the BMI and/or the results of the 
analysis.
The user was not identified
The scales display only the weight and the 
BMI.
The top left corner of the display shows 
a question mark „?" . The user was not 
identified. You must first enter your personal 
data. Proceed as specified in the section on 
"Entering your personal data".
