The Software is not fault-tolerant and i s not designed, manufactur ed or intended for use in
hazar dous envir onments r equiring fail-safe performance, such as in the operation of
nuclear facilities, aircraft navigation or communication systems, air traffic control,
implantable human medical devices, external human life- suppor t machines, explosives
control devices, submar ines, weapons systems, or in control ling the oper ation of moving
motor vehi cles, in which the failur e of the Software could lead directly to death, personal
injury, or severe physical or environmental damage ("Hi gh Risk Activities") . You agree not
to use the Softwar e in High Ri sk Activities.

The U. S. Government acknowledges Motorola's r epresentation that the Software and its
documentation were developed at pr ivate expense and no par t of them is in the public
domai n and that the Softwar e is Restr icted Computer Softwar e as that term is defined in
Clause52.227- 19( FAR) and is Commer cial Computer Softwar e as that term is defined in
Subpart 227.471 DFARS).

requir ed by any other government agency.
