HELPFUL HINTS (PROBLEMS/SOLUTIONS)

Because of the Quality we build into our product, very
few problems are actual LCD Projection TV defects.
Most problems only involve simple hookup or setup
changes that can be solved by the customer. Please
check the chart below and try the solutions listed for
Problem:
Check these Conditions
PTV turns off
The sleep timer may have been set.

No picture, sound
Check antenna/external connections.
(Digital Picture).
May be station trouble, NO signal broadcast.
MUTE function may be on.
No Captioning.
Check if station is broadcasting a Closed-
Caption signal. Select another channel.
Cannot customize
Digital Caption signal not broadcast.

Cannot display picture
Check Aspect Ratio of broadcast.

Try these Solutions
Press POWER key.
Adjust antenna.
Try a different channel.
Press RESET key to restart channel search.
Adjust Volume.
Press Caption key to select Captioning.
Press CAPTION key to select Analog captioning.
Press PIX SHAPE key to change setting.
Turn antenna, install signal booster.
Install outdoor Digital antenna.
Try a different channel.
Adjust antenna.
Press RESET key to restart channel search.
Adjust Volume.
Press INPUT key.
Switch on external equipment.
Set external equipment output connections to match
input connections.
Press AUDIO key.
Switch Analog antenna signal to VHF/UHF.
Select Channel Scan Memory and manually add channels
or start CH. (channel) search.
Turn Antenna or install signal booster.
Set V-Guide to "None" or press the RESET key to clear
all settings and restart channel search.
Switch Analog Antenna signal to Cable.
Replace batteries two "AAA."
Aim remote control at front of PTV.
Wait until the PTV to cool down. When the temperature
inside the PTV returns to normal, you can turn on the
PTV again. (The WARNING indicator will be turned off as
you turn on the PTV.)
Unplug the AC power cord once and plug it again to turn
on the PTV. If the PTV is turned0 off again, call for
service.
