Installation guide for continuous dry verge
Introduction
Components
Sandtoft continuous dry verge system is
extremely quick and easy to fit and is designed
to give a neat finish to the roof tiling at verges. It is
verge connector
suitable for installation at bargeboards, gable
ladders or directly over even brickwork or
masonry.
The verge units are available in convenient 3 metre
lengths. The material is high quality, external
grade, rigid upvc, which is extremely resistant to
light degradation and atmospheric pollution.
Verge connectors and eaves stop ends are
available to complement the system.

1. lay the underlay in the usual way and finish
flush with the outer edge of the wall or
bargeboard. Set out the tile battens at the
appropriate gauge for the tile and finish flush
with the outer edge of the wall or bargeboard.
2. At the eaves, remove a section of the
horizontal flange from the verge unit. This
allows the verge unit to accommodate the
fascia or tilt fillet and underlay support tray -
see drawing A.
