. Care instructions
To prevent serious soiling, you can regularly dust the blind with a feather duster or use a vacuum
cleaner on low power. If there are stains, we would advise that you remove the fabric following the
below steps:
Unhook the cord guides from the stitched safety rings (7a). Then carefully remove the bottom bar
which is tucked into bottom pocket. At the top of the blind , pull the fabric off the Velcro fastener.
We recommend the fabric be sent for professional dry clean only.
To replace (7b) re attach clips and carefully re install bottom bar.

To install the brackets for a John Lewis Roman blind, follow these steps:

1. Decide Positioning:
- Inside the recess: Ensure the blind is clear of any latches or fixtures.
- Outside the recess: Ensure the blind overlaps equally on both sides (at least 5 cm).

2. Attach Brackets to Headrail: Insert the brackets into the channel on the reverse of the headrail.

3. Mark Bracket Positions:
- Hold the blind in the desired position, ensuring it is centered and level.
- Use a pencil to mark the location of each bracket.

4. Remove Brackets: Detach the brackets from the headrail by pressing the locking tab at the bottom of each bracket.

5. Mark Screw Hole Positions: Place the brackets on the location markings and mark the desired screw hole positions.

6. Fix Brackets:
- Use the screws provided to attach brackets to wood.
- For masonry, use appropriate fixings such as wall plugs, expansion bolts, or toggle bolts, depending on the mounting surface.

Note: Additional fasteners may be required depending on the surface (e.g., wallboard, plaster, brick, tile, or stone).
