    IMPORTANT SAFEGUARDS When using electrical appliances, basic safety precautions should always be followed, including the following: 1. Read all instructions. Keep the instruction for future reference. 2. This appliance shall not be used by children from 0 to 8 years. This appliance can be used by children aged from 8 years and above if they are continuously supervised.

  • Page 6 BEFORE USING FIRST USE • Take the appliance and accessories from the box. Remove all packaging. • Place the device on a flat stable surface and ensure a minimum of 10cm free space around the device. This device is not suitable for insta n in a cabinet or for external use.

    USING THE APPLIANCE 1. Place the fryer on a stable, flat and dry surface. 2. Ensure the fryer is switched off by turning the temperature knob to “OFF” position. 3. Connect the appliance to the mains. 4. Fill the tank with the required amount of oil or fat. Ensure that the appliance is filled at least to the minimum level and not higher than the maximum level, as indicated on the inside of the fryer.

    • When fresh chips are used, dry the chips a er washing them to ensure no water gets into the oil. Fry the chips in two turns. First me (blanch) 5 to 10 minutes at 170 degrees. Second me (finishing) 2 to 4 minutes at 190 degrees. Allow the oil to drip off.
