3 Modbus Configuration

3.1 Modbus Configuration
Note.

Programmable for 2- or 4-wire connections.

Programmable baud rate (1200 to 9600 baud).

Odd or even parity.
All other instrument configuration procedure is detailed in the User Guide (IM/C1300).

Modbus Configuration
Press the key to open the Main Menu.
Highlight Modbus.
Communications Transmission Type
Select the required number of transmission wires, 2-wire or 4-wire.
Baud Rate
Select the transmission rate required (1200 slowest, 9600 fastest).
Address
Assign the instrument an address between 1 and 99.
Parity
Select the appropriate parity to match the computer terminal or host computer.
