CHAPTER 4
SYSTEM DATA PROGRAMMING

1. GENERAL

This chapter explains the procedure for system data programming, necessary for setting various functions of the
MCI.

2. INFORMATION FOR SYSTEM DATA PROGRAMMING

2.1 Initialization

When programming the system data for the MCI, the AP must first be initialized by CMD101. This initial pro-
cessing sets the initial data as the system data. This processing is mandatory for deleting initial data unnecessary
for the MCI. After this process is complete, start programming the necessary data.

2.2 Preparation for Programming

Before programming the system data pertaining to the MCI, confirm that the system is under the following sta-
tus.
• The system is under On-Line mode. ("RUN" lamp is flashing on the MP card.)
• The PN-AP00 card is mounted in the correct location.
• All system data pertaining to the station, trunks, and service features are already programmed.

2.3 Station Number Data Loading

When station numbers are added, deleted or changed by CM10, station number data must be reloaded to the AP
using the following procedure:
• Set the Make Busy switch on the PN-AP00 card to UP and then to DOWN.
