Removing The Diskette Drive Or Card - Lenovo ThinkStation 4157 Hardware Installation And Replacement Manual

This section provides instructions on how to replace the diskette drive or card reader.
1. Remove the computer cover. See "Removing the computer cover" on page 11.
2. Remove the front bezel. See "Removing the front bezel" on page 12.
3. Locate the diskette drive or card reader. See "Locating internal components" on page 7.
4. Disconnect the signal and power cables from the rear of the diskette drive. If you are replacing a
card reader, disconnect the card reader cable from the system board. See "Identifying parts on the
system board" on page 8.
5. Press the drive latch
