2. Remove the front bezel by releasing the three plastic tabs
outward.

3. Lay the front bezel on a flat surface.
4. To reinstall the bezel, align the plastic tabs on the right side of the bezel with the corresponding holes in
the chassis, then pivot the bezel inward until it snaps into position on the left side.

Accessing system board components

To access the system board components:
1. Remove the computer cover. See "Removing the computer cover" on page 11.
2. Unlatch and open the adapter card retainer.
3. On some models, you might need to remove the adapter cards to gain easy access to some internal
components. See "Replacing an adapter card" on page 27.

Installing a memory module

Your computer has six slots for installing DDR3 ECC UDIMMs (double data rate 3 error correction code
unbuffered dual inline memory modules) that provide up to a maximum of 24 GB of system memory.
When installing memory modules, use the following guidelines:
• Use 1.8 V, 240-pin DDR3 ECC UDIMMs.
