UNUSUAL ATTITUDES

When the aircraft enters an unusual pitch attitude, red chevrons pointing toward the horizon warn of extreme
pitch. The chevrons are displayed on the Attitude Indicator, starting at 50˚ above and 30˚ below the horizon
line.
If pitch exceeds +30˚/-20˚ or bank exceeds 65˚, some information displayed on the PFD is removed. The
Altimeter and Airspeed, Attitude, Vertical Speed, and Horizontal Situation indicators remain on the display
and the Bearing Information, Alerts, and Annunciation windows can be displayed during such situations. The
following information is removed from each PFD and their softkeys are disabled when the aircraft experiences
unusual attitudes:
• Traffic Annunciations
• AFCS Annunciations
• PFD Inset Map
• Outside Air Temperature (OAT)
• ISA temperature deviation
• Wind data
• Selected Heading readout
• Selected Course readout
• Transponder Status Box

My G1000 NXI does not have ATK OFST or Charts available, how to obtain?

To obtain charts for the Garmin G1000 NXi, use Garmin SD card part number 010-00474-50. Some charts, such as Jeppesen ChartView and AC-U-KWIK Airport Directory, are not included on this card and may need to be obtained separately. You can download the required databases from fly.garmin.com. If using SD cards smaller than 16GB, you may need multiple cards or reuse one to load all databases. Insert the SD card into the MFD top slot with displays off, then power on the system and follow on-screen instructions to complete the update.

There is no information provided about obtaining "ATK OFST."
