    Using Earphones Turn down the volume before connecting the earphones (not included). Slowly raise the volume with the earphones on until you reach your desired volume.     Basic Operation Powering ON/OFF When you first connect the unit to the mains socket. The unit will be in STANDBY mode. Press the STANDBY Button on the unit or on the remote control to switch the unit on. • The LCD Display will light up after connection is normal. Press the STANDBY Button again to switch the unit off.

    Radio Operation 1. Press the CD/MP3/RADIO Button repeatedly to select radio mode. The LCD Display will show rAd. 2. Press the SKIP+/SKIP– Button to adjust radio frequency manually. 3. Press and hold the SKIP+/SKIP– Button to start the auto scan for radio station. Once a radio station is detected, the auto scan stops and the unit starts radio broadcasting.
