    Colortrac SmartLF Ci 40 is not limited to scanning recognised document sizes, for example A1, A2 and E size. The maximum scan width for SmartLF is 1016mm (40”) but the maximum length is limited only by the attached computer and scanning software.

TAKE CARE TO LOAD BETWEEN THE SINGLE LINES OR DOCUMENT DAMAGE MAY OCCUR. The document is fed promptly into the scanner opening until resistance is met inside the scanner.

    Colortrac SmartLF Ci 40 Installation and Operating Manual 3.04 Remote control of the scanner using Windows XP The XP Windows Image Acquisition Device Driver Interface (WIADDI) supports custom scanner interfaces allowing SmartLF Ci 40 hardware to start key program operations. The SmartLF Ci 40 scanner SCAN and COPY buttons can be used to start and stop these primary software functions from the scanner control panel instead of, or in conjunction with the software.

    Each of the five SmartLF Ci 40 scanner CIS and glass assemblies is chemically treated and should resist scratching from paper clips, abrasive dust and staples. Colortrac recommend that the operator takes all reasonable steps to ensure that all scan documents are clean and free from metallic appendages and abrasive particles.

When scanning thicker documents it may be necessary to use the Speed and Media Thickness Controls. See sections 3.06 and 4.6 for more information.

It may be more efficient for example to alter the values at just a single sensor intersection rather than altering the values at three!

To change the setting follows the steps below- Press MENU to enter the Scanner Options menu.

If there are problems re-establishing an Ethernet connection it may be necessary to power cycle the Ethernet switch or router device.

The quoted scan accuracy is valid for media up to 0.3mm thick and may vary depending on the operating environment and the type & thickness of media. Colortrac measures accuracy by scanning a paper original printed with a 68.58cm (27in) square target.
