  • Page 8 THE PEDALS Unfolding the pedals Yor folding bike comes with a folding pedal on the right side (chain side) of the bike. To open this, bring the pedal to a horizontal position, 90 degrees to the pedal arm. Keeping the pedal in this position, push it towards the pedal arm until you hear a click Unfolding the pedals Press the release buttons on either side of the pedal.
  • Page 9 REFLECTORS AND BELL First fully release the securing screws as shown Wrap the bell around the handlebar as shown, remembering (anti-clockwise) to put it in a place where you can reach it easily whilst riding. Then wrap the white reflector around the handlebar near the centre, and wrap the red reflector in the same way around the saddle post.
  • Page 10 FINAL CHECKS You can now ensure your saddle and handlebars are at a comfortable riding position, and fully tighten. Always be aware of the minimum insertion mark and make sure these are inserted beyond this point. Check tyre pressures regularly. Recommended tyre pressures are clearly marked on the side of the tyre. Check that all bolts and xings are tight and secure.
