Bluetooth

Bluetooth is a short-range communications technology that allows you to connect wirelessly to a
number of Bluetooth devices, such as headsets and hands-free car kits, and Bluetooth-enabled
handhelds, computers, printers, and wireless phones. The Bluetooth communication range is
usually approximately 30 feet.
Turn Bluetooth On or Off
Use the settings menu to enable or disable your phone's Bluetooth capabilities.
1. From the Home screen, tap Apps
2. Tap the OFF icon next to Bluetooth to turn Bluetooth on.
– or –
Tap the ON icon next to Bluetooth to turn Bluetooth off.
Note: Turn off Bluetooth when not in use to conserve battery power, or in places where using a
wireless phone is prohibited, such as aboard an aircraft and in hospitals.
The Bluetooth Settings Menu
The Bluetooth settings menu gives you access to information and controls for your phone's
Bluetooth feature.
► From the Home screen, tap Apps
Tap
for the following menus:
Refresh to search for other visible in-range Bluetooth devices.
Rename this device to rename your phone for Bluetooth access.
Show received files to view all files you have received via Bluetooth.
Save to to select the location to store the files to be received via Bluetooth.
Note: Your phone is visible to nearby devices while Bluetooth settings is open.
Change the Phone Name
The phone name identifies your phone to other devices.
1. From the Home screen, tap Apps
2. If Bluetooth is not switched on, tap the OFF icon to turn Bluetooth on.
3. Tap
> Rename this device.
Tools and Calendar
> Settings > Bluetooth.
> Settings > Bluetooth.
> Settings > Bluetooth.
