Park Assist

Park Assist helps drivers park in suitable parallel or transverse parking pla-
ces or manoeuvre out of parallel parking spaces.
When entering or leaving a parking space the system only undertakes the
steering movements. The driver operates the pedals and the shift lev-
er/gear selector.
Searching for a parking space
›
Slowly drive past a row of parked vehicles.
›
Press the  button.
If the system finds a suitable parking space, the indication for parking is
displayed in the instrument cluster.
If the system detects that the parking space found is suitable for parallel
and transverse parking, it recommends a parking method in the display and
allows the driver to change the parking method.
Press the button  to change the parking method (parallel/transverse
parking).
A display example of the indications for parallel parking (indications for
transverse parking are displayed in the same way).
