Getting started

Some suggestions follow for configuring the instrument reliably in little time.
Mount the instrument, See section 4 "Mounting", page 11.
Install the instrument, See section 5 "Installation", page 12 ff.
Call up Administrator level (ADMINISTR. LEVEL).
Enter password 0300 (factory setting).
Call up PARAMETER LEVEL/DISPLAY/OPERAT. TIMEOUT.
Set OPERAT. TIMEOUT to 0 minutes (no timeout).
Leave the Display level with "EXIT"
Leave the Parameter level with "EXIT"
Select BASIC SETTING and work through all the menu items, See section
6.7.3 "Basic setting", page 30.
Answer "YES" to the "Reinitialize device" query
Configure the required additional parameters.
Calibrate the instrument to the sensor and sample medium.
