To set up the DeLonghi Magnifica S ECAM 22.110.B for hotter coffee, follow these steps:

1. Adjust the Temperature Setting:
- Ensure the machine is off and the main switch is in the "I" position.
- Follow the instructions in the manual to modify the temperature setting.

2. Preheat the Cups:
- Use hot water to warm the cups before brewing coffee.

3. Adjust the Coffee Mill:
- Make sure the grinder is set optimally, as finer grounds can help extract hotter coffee.

4. Ensure Proper Maintenance:
- Regularly clean and descale the machine to maintain efficiency and consistent temperature.

These adjustments should help achieve a hotter cup of coffee.

During the descaling process of the DeLonghi Magnifica S ECAM 22.110.B, water comes out from the cappuccino maker (A18) instead of the coffee spouts (A12). This is normal as the rinsing phase directs water through the cappuccino maker. If no water is coming out at all, possible reasons could include an incomplete descaling cycle, a clogged system, or an issue with water flow. Ensuring the descaling cycle is completed correctly and checking for blockages may resolve the issue.

ground coffee and long coffee beans is not working

The ground coffee may not be working because the "pre-ground coffee" function is selected without placing pre-ground coffee in the funnel. The long coffee beans may not be working because the beans have run out, or the pre-ground coffee funnel is clogged. To resolve these issues, ensure coffee is placed in the funnel when using the pre-ground function, refill the beans container if empty, and clean the pre-ground coffee funnel if it is clogged.
