Compatibility of this unit with
progressive-scan TVs.
This player is compatible with progressive
video Macro Vision System Copy Guard.
CONSUMERS SHOULD NOTE THAT NOT ALL HIGH
DEFINITION TELEVISION SETS ARE FULLY COMPAT-
IBLE WITH THIS PRODUCT AND MAY CAUSE ARTI-
FACTS TO BE DISPLAYED IN THE PICTURE. IN CASE
OF 525 PROGRESSIVE SCAN PICTURE PROBLEMS, IT
IS RECOMMENDED THAT THE USER SWITCH THE
CONNECTION TO THE "STANDARD DEFINITION"
OUTPUT. IF THERE ARE QUESTIONS REGARDING
OUR TV SET COMPATIBILITY WITH THIS MODEL
525p DVD PLAYER, PLEASE CONTACT OUR
CUSTOMER SERVICE CENTER.
• DV-563A This player is compatible with
the following Pioneer displays and moni-
tors: PDP-5030HD, PRO-1000HD, PRO-
800HD, PDP-4330HD, PRO-720HD, PRO-
620HD, PRO-520HD, SD-643HDS, SD-
533HDS, PDP-503HDG, PDP-433HDG.
• DV-667A: This player is compatible with
the following Pioneer displays and moni-
tors: PDP-503HDG, PDP-433HDG
progressive scan-compatible TVs.

S-Video Out

You only need to make this setting if you
connected this player to your TV using an S-
video cable.
• Default setting: S2

automatically plays the disc in that language.
The DVD-Video format recognizes 136
different languages. Select Other Language
if you want to specify a language other than
