6. Device software setting description
The DS600 device is designed to communicate to a server using Verizon and/or Sprint cellular
service to the internet. Communication between the DS600 MOBILELOCK device and the server
will broadly consist of the following categories of communication:
DS600 COMMANDS; sent to the DS600 to configure parameters in the device or request
current information such as location and status.
ACKLNOWLEDGEMENTS; describe the disposition of a received message. This includes
both positive and negate acknowledgments
RESPONSES; are messages that are a direct response to a command
REPORTS; which are messages that are sent from the DS600 based on settings in the
device such as location reports, or alarm events, etc.
