Chapter 5. Client Software
Client software is Network Manager STD/PRO that accesses Network Recorder program (server) over the
network. This chapter explains how to register Network Recorder to Network Manager STD/PRO, access the
server and play video remotely.
5.1. Registering Network Recorder to Network Manager
Network Manager STD/PRO registers Network Recorder through '[Wizard] – [Device]' or '[Device Manager]'
menus. In this chapter, registration through 'Device Manager' menu is explained. (For information on 'Site
Manager' menu, please refer to 'Network Manager STD/PRO manual'.)
Registering Network Recorder
1.
Select [Setup] – [Device Manager] menu. "Device Manager' window appears.

Click 'Add' button.

Enter values and click 'Ok'. Items in bold must have values. For model selection, choose 'Network
Recorder 9/16/32'. Network Recorder uses 6500 as default port and 'admin / 12345' as default 'ID /
PW'.
4.
Click 'OK' button, then the registered unit appears on the list.
Note
A newly registered device does not appear on the site tree automatically. After
the administrator registers a new device to the program, user should add the
device to its own site to utilize the device in monitoring video.
