    DEVICE CARE INSTRUCTIONS Taking care and cleaning the device - In case of damage of the covering apparatus, this has to be replaced. - In case of real or presumed spoilt, do not make any repairs by yourself. Repairs can be carried out only by authorized centres. - Do not give a shock to the product by clashing, overturning or shaking.

    TRANSDUCER CARE INSTRUCTIONS Use and cleaning of the transducer When used on wound it is necessary to carry out the sterilisation procedure foreseen for the transducers. Avoid to use too much aggressive solvents, alcohols or detergents, they could dama- ge the covering, moreover avoid to introduce liquids in the apparatus Handle with care the treatment head.

    CONNECTION TO WIRING Connection to wiring Do not use multiple plugs or adapters. Connect the device to an efficient and tested socket. In case of doubt, do not connect the device. Verify that the current tension corresponds to the voltage and frequency indicated on the apparatus label (a wrong alimentation tension can damage the device).

    USING THE APPARATUS Practical use For a correct use, proceed as follow: - check that the apparatus is not connected to the electric system f - connect the diffuser to the special output; Storage and transportation: from -10°C to 45°C Max.

    STARTING PROGRAM How to start the program When the program is selected the display will show you the following parameters: the nameof the program, the symbol indicating if the machine is connected to wiring , the total time, the emitted Gauss and the frequency in Hz. Start the program by pressing button OK.

    How to stop the program To stop the program hold down the button OK until a beep is heard. The here below window will appear. How to change the phase time To change the phase time, press the button TIME and the buttons P+ or P- to regula- te the time.

    ALERTS Open circuit This apparatus has a check of power emission. It is therefore necessary before starting any treatment, to assure that the diffuser is well connected and placed on the areas to be treated. Correct power emission. The treatment correctly proceeds.     In Magnum XL, it is possible to create and memorize only 1 new program, after which it will be necessary to overwrite on it. In Magnum XL Pro, it is possible to create and memorize up to 30 new programs, after which it will be necessary to overwrite on those already existing.

    FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS Can magnetotherapy cause any harm? Magnetotherapy applications do not cause any harm except when used in con- traindicated cases (see chapter "Contraindications"). Do I get quicker results if I increase the pre-set power? NO. The apparatus is equipped with specific programs which already provide the optimal power level to be used.
