Electrical system
An adhesive label should be stuck to the back of all the components. This label should be indelible and
water resistant and should indicate:

supplier's code
•
aprilia code
•
hardware card version
•
software version
•
production date
It is the supplier's responsibility to add any other labels relating to DOT certificates or immobilizer system
homologations.
Diagnosis
DIAGNOSIS
This menu interfaces with the systems in the motorbike and diagnoses them. To enable this menu,
enter an access code available only from aprilia service centres.

This is a 5-digit code, fixed for each vehicle. The Pegaso code is: 25973
If the code is incorrect, the following message is displayed:

Once the operation is finished, the instrument panel goes back to the main menu.
There are two types of ECU diagnosis, passive and active. In the passive diagnosis, the user simply
reads the data from the ECU- the battery voltage, throttle opening angle, atmospheric pressure or the
reading of present or past errors. In the active mode, the ECU carries out such operations as producing
5 sparks or 5 injections.
The values to be transmitted to read the parameters are:
