Questions and answers
I have a power flex 70 that I just swapped out and put the old HIM on the new unit. Everything seems to work other than you have to hold the start button to keep it running. As soon as you let it go the motor stops
The Allen-Bradley PowerFlex 70 motor may stop running when the start button is released due to a configuration issue with the terminal block inputs. If the drive does not start from start or run inputs wired to the terminal block, one possible cause is that the drive is faulted, indicated by a flashing red status light. The corrective action is to clear the fault by pressing the stop button or cycling the power.
