Manage Your Apps & Games
Open Apps or Games from the Fire TV menu to access and manage all of the apps and games in your
collection.

Launch a game or app

You can find apps you've downloaded and installed to your Fire TV by opening Apps or Games from the
menu.
You can also access Your Apps Library using the Quick Access menu. Press and hold the Home
remote and select My Apps. Or, double-press the Home
To launch an app or game:
From the Home screen, select Apps or Games.
You'll find your apps and games in the Your Apps Library and Your Games Library rows.
Select an app or game to open it.

Compatible Controllers

You can use your Fire TV remote to play most games and apps, but some require an Amazon Fire game
controller, Amazon Fire TV game controller or compatible wireless game controller.
The Fire TV Remote App is not designed to play games. Some games may work, but performance will vary.
Detail pages for games and apps include information about compatible controllers:
Open the detail page and select More Info.
In the Works With box, look for controller information:
All
Fire TV Remote (both Amazon Fire TV Voice Remote and Amazon Fire TV Remote)
Amazon Fire TV Game Controller
Tablet Games on Fire TV (requires a game controller or mouse)
Fire TV Stick (only visible on Fire TV Stick)

Calibrate Your Display

If part of your display is missing or cut off at the edges of your screen the first time you launch an app or
game, your TV may be automatically scaling your picture.
You can use the Calibrate Display option (Settings
to adjust for this. You'll see a screen with grey arrows pointing to the edges of your TV, which you can use
as a guide when making your adjustments.
Use the Up and Down arrows on your Fire TV remote to adjust your display so that the grey arrows are
completely visible and touching the edges of your screen.
