CHECKING CALIBRATION You can verify the accuracy of the MMD4E’s readings by manually checking its calibration at any time. To do so: 1. Remove the black rubber protective sleeves from the test pins. -

How deep do I need to insert the pins to get an accurate reading? Does the depth differ based on material (wood/drywall/etc).. thank you. Gail
Hi, sorry I have two more questions. The pins on my meter look they have hooks on the ends. Is this ok or are they bent? Also, is there a specific angle I should use when inserting into materials or should it be inserted straight. Thanks Gail
