7-1. Structure

8. PRECAUTIONS ON DISASSEMBLY AND REASSEMBLY
[Bold] numbers in the descriptions below correspond to item numbers in the parts list and
exploded assembly diagram.
8-1. Disassembly
(1) Remove the two Tapping Screw (W/Flange) D3 x 20 [5], and take off Case (B) [2].
The Printed Circuit Board [3] and AC-Adapter [7] cord can then be taken out in an assembled
body.
(2) To separate the Printed Circuit Board [3] and AC-Adapter [7] cord, use a soldering iron to melt
the soldered portions.
NOTE: Ideally, the soldered portions should be freed with a solder absorber. When a
soldering iron must be used, use one with a rated power of 35 W.
8-2. Reassembly
For reassembly, reverse the following disassembly steps. However, special attention should be
taken to ensure that the Battery Set lamp, AC-Adapter [7] cord and charging terminals are
properly installed in their prescribed grooves.
