We recommend that you expand the printer memory to avoid any memory full
errors.
For LJ2500 Users
This printer has 2 Mbytes of standard memory and a slot for
optional additional memory. The memory can be expanded up
to a total of 34 Mbytes by installing a commercially available
SIMM (single in-line memory module).
For LJ2600 Users
These printers have 8 Mbytes of standard memory and a slot
for optional additional memory. 4 Mbytes of memory is fitted on
the board, the other 4 Mbytes is on the installed SIMM. The
memory can be expanded up to a total of 36 Mbytes by
installing a commercially available SIMM (single in-line memory
module). When you want to expand the memory, you need to
remove the fitted SIMM, and then install a new SIMM of at least
8 Mbytes.
