M9007-011) There are many different types of self-adhesive Cards. Thorough investigation and testing has shown that poorer quality or incorrect Card types will cause problems in the Printer. These problems range from poor image quality, failure to feed from the Card Hopper and Dye Film being cut through to Cards getting jammed in the roller mechanism.

    The Magicard Rio Pro Printer can be purchased in single or double-sided printing format. If you choose the Rio Pro single format model, you can purchase an upgrade from Magicard. This will change the Rio Pro to a Rio Pro Duo in the convenience of your Office allowing you to print double-sided Cards.

    Field Repair Every precaution has been taken in the design of the Rio Pro printer to ensure user problems are rare. We have also tried to anticipate any possible problems in the Field due to misuse, accidental failure or straightforward component failure.

    The Customer Support personnel may first ask you to carry out certain simple checks to confirm the nature of the problem, and if a return is appropriate they will give you a Magicard Return Authorisation Number (MRAN) and consignment instructions to the appropriate repair centre. Ultra will, at its discretion, repair or replace the defective parts at no charge to the Customer.
