SIP phones on the Panasonic KX-NS500 PBX may be unable to call or receive calls from analogue phones due to the following reasons:

1. VLAN Configuration Issues: If the SIP phones and the PBX are not on the same VLAN, voice communication may not be established. Ensure that the VLAN IDs are correctly assigned.

2. DHCP Server Issues: SIP phones require a DHCP server on their LAN for IP configuration. If the DHCP client function is not enabled or the DHCP server is not available, the phones may not function properly.

3. PBX Malfunction: If the PBX is not operating correctly, restarting it might resolve the issue.

4. Extension Port Issues: If an extension is malfunctioning, plugging it into a working extension port can help determine if the problem is with the phone or the port.

5. Feature Limitations: Some features and tones available for other phones may not work the same way for SIP phones. Check if specific feature limitations are affecting call functionality.

6. Operation Differences: SIP phone operations may differ from standard steps in the manual. Some SIP phones require pressing the OK button after dialing, which may affect call setup.

Checking these factors can help identify and resolve the issue.
